EPS started out as a tribute of sorts to the book Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. It was a chance to get grounded for a few hours and meditate with mala beads, a chant from the book, readings from the novel, and food. Six years later the core is still the same, though I have taken it away from following any kind of story.
This year, I am excited to host eps in January. For most of us, this is a starting point. We make resolutions and feel like the start of the year is a start of a new life. And it is. And that is what eps will be this year. A starting point. Using our time on our mats not to check out of our life for a brief time, but to check in. To assess what our next step is, and set an intention for 2016.
Join me for eps this January. Together, we will work to break down the wall that holds back that part of you that wants to reach for what is next. With intention, we will move in to the New Year and embrace the opportunity to live the best life we can.
