It took me a long time to find that if I adjust my expectations I find a lot more joy.

My flight got re-routed yesterday morning and I ended up getting to spend time with someone I wanted to know better. Instead of worrying about how late I would arrive and how much I would miss, I enjoyed my time and arrived in Vegas a few minutes before my original flight.

I arrived to rain and 62 degrees. 62 degrees!!! Sitting at the pool in the mornings is a huge part of my Vegas vacat...ions but I always hustle to be down there early and... I hurry up to relax. Without pool plans this morning I feel a little more chill.

It wasn't so long ago that I would have sat in that Harrisburg airport steaming and worrying. I would have thought my vacation was partly ruined without the pool.

I'm still working on it!! Don't overthink things today. Just go with it. Happy Saturday!
